SMETA Description:
SMETA ,more detailed is SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit. It is an initiative developed by Sedex Members who included UK retailers, manufacturers and audit bodies. They want to try and create convergence within the ethical environment so that a muturally recognised audit scheme is created.
Scope of the SMETA?
The detailed scope incorporates both the ETI Base Code and other key ethical related requirements, including sub-contracting, home working, entitlement to word and environment.
